Rice or Nice?

www.streetlightz.com I saw this and thought I'd see what "The Boyz" thought about them. I am a very subtle type with my car (except for the in your face gauges) so to me, I think it is a bit much. What do you guys think? A timebomb waiting to go off is what this is.

Hey Mr. Rogers...the VTEC light is RICE!!!....if you want a vtec indicator....just do a setup with an LED...it looks way better...oh and by the way just to let you know...the guy that was talking about where to hook up the turbo coolant lines...and you posted back that they were oil lines....they also could be coolant lines...since alot of turbos also have a water cooled center section along with the oil...if I remember correctly the DRAG kits use a turbo that has the water/oil cooled center section

What? I have my hood glow NEON GREEN when I have positive manifold pressure and it gets bright as the boost spools and it's blinding at 8 PSI.

I thought they were rice too but about the coolant lines, the Drag doesn't (from the best of my knowledge) come with the water cooled housing. The Drag peeps have to have it redone that way, but who knows, maybe he spend a ton of money on something that he thought he would be able to hook up and got the water cooled housing from the get go. I have been planning on the regular vtec led but I saw this and had to get it out there.

but i heard of a fellow w/ a delsol that did it like a year ago. rice rice rice,but if you figure it out yourself its cool to me. just to know how to do it is the idea that i was glad to hear about."yo this guy figured out how to make a light ,light up, at vtec!" sounded cool to me but that looks sooo dumb and cheap and um...RiCeBoY!

Coulple of days ago I was chatting with a guy at the office trying to come up with the riciest thing we could do with the vtec signal. We thought it would be WAY ricy to lay electroluminecent (glowing neon wire) wire into all of the gaps in the body and wire it to the vtec signal line as a trigger. When you're zipping down the freeway and hit Vtec you're car would suddenly look like something out of Tron or Automan (if any of you remember that TV series).

We chalked it up as just being too damn rice.
